October Calendar For A Cause- BCFO “Hooked on Dance”

Breast Cancer is unfortunately something we all know too well.   The Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks does a great job helping individuals fighting the breast cancer battle.  This organization helps renew hope, supports family and friends and raises funds to help find a cure. “Hooked on Dance” is an annual event held by Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks to help raise awareness and funds for our local organization.  With two Hogan Land Title employees on the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks advisory board, the employees were able to help with of the planning of Hooked on Dance as well as setting up for the event.  Planning and setting up for this event includes countless hours of reaching out and finding sponsors, getting silent auction items and placing floral arrangements on tables, putting together seating charts, finding a band and organizing and getting the sponsor’s tables together just to name a few.  Each year a different theme is chosen, Wizard of Oz was the 2017 theme and the advisory board turned the University Plaza Convention Center into the Emerald City!  Green floral arrangements, Tall cylinder vases filled with green water and rocks to mimic the emerald city skyline was the perfect addition to set the event apart from previous years.  Sponsoring this event includes social media shout outs and tickets to attend the evening event, which we never miss!  Bidding on auction items, eating a delicious dinner and dancing the night away to 80’s cover band Members Only is something we look forward to every year!  We are honored to put in the time and effort to help the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks which helps so many women and men around the Ozarks area.  Thank you for all you have done and all that you continue to do BCFO!
