March 2016 - Ipourlife

http://ipourlife.org/ Ipourlife is an organization that helps local teens learn necessary life skills.  This organization also helps women and children in an area called Korah which is a trash dump in Ethiopia.  They teach women trades through a program called 10x10 where they make and sell items for income.  In return, these women are making a living to remove themselves and their families from poverty.  It teaches their children that they are able to do more for themselves.  Hogan Land Title Company sponsored a woman named Gidey through Ipourlife’s program, 10x10.  It was a gratifying experience to be a part of, and really felt personal once we got photos of Gidey and her entire story.
